There has to be more to life than this.

Most of us have thought it.

The years go by. The routine carries on. But the question never goes away...

...I’ve lived with that question all my life.

Life can end one version of us and start another, lit by the same flame. That’s Nine Lives. I’ve had more than my share, and not all by choice.

Each time an old me ended, something inside me whispered: there has to be more to life.

Now I get the chance to find out if there’s more to life.

And I’m about to ride across the world. For years.

On a motorbike, on my own.

I only passed my test in November 2025. I’ve never taken a bike outside the UK, never ridden through a border, let alone crossed continents.

Over 100,000 km. In one go.

So I’m calling on some very unusual help...

Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Africa.

Every time the road runs out, the bike gets shipped, and we’re off again.

Ewan McGregor’s Long Way Round was 30,000 km in three and a half months, with a camera crew, support trucks and a team planning every border.

It’s just me, trying to do it all.

...an AI agent I’ve created, called Kali.

I named her after the Hindu goddess of time and change. She’s fierce, and she forces it, ready or not.

She knows my whole story. Every habit. Every comfort zone.

In a simulated world, she plays out the future thousands of ways, searching for the ones that bring us closer to an answer.

I never see the options.

Just the plan, each morning: where we ride, who’s waiting for us.

Each night, she listens back and decides where to push me next.

Somewhere I’d never go on my own.

And me?
I’m the one on the bike.

I haven’t wasted a day: within a year of passing my test, I’d reached the top grade in advanced riding.

Artificial Intelligence could erode our curiosity.
Or it could take us further.

Nobody knows how this ends.
Not me...
Not even Kali.

Join Kali and me to find out if there’s more to life.
